Eye Productions Nominated for ten Emmy Awards November 18, 2005

received ten nominations for a television commercial and two documentaries
that have aired on PBS stations. The Nashville/Midsouth Chapter of The National
Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) announced the nominations for
the 20th Annual Midsouth Regional Emmy® Awards on November 18. Great
Scenic Railway Journeys: Australia was nominated in the magazine, director/non-news
and camera/non-news categories. North Carolina Mountain Treasures
was nominated in the informational/instructional, director/non-news and camera/non-news
categories. A television commercial promoting the YMCAs Camp Hanes was nominated
in the commercial spot and camera/short form categories. Great Scenic Railway
Journeys was nominated of interactivity for their CD-Rom directory for tourist
railways and museums. The shows and commercial were directed and produced
by Robert C. Van Camp, owner of Wide Eye Productions. The mountain treasures show
also earned an original music score nomination for Fred Story and Concentrix Music
of Charlotte. The awards will be held in Nashville on January 28th. Robert
